Springtime becomes a new supporter of Right To Play – together we get more children moving

Right To Play is entering into a new partnership with Springtime, which will now become a supporter of the organization in Norway. The collaboration aims to give more children access to play, learning, and safe childhoods, while also engaging thousands of recreational athletes and participants at some of Norway’s most popular events.

Through the partnership, Right To Play will be present at selected events organized by Springtime, where participants will have the opportunity to learn more about the organization’s work—and, importantly, contribute directly. A key part of the collaboration is that participants can add a voluntary donation to Right To Play when registering for events.

“We are proud to have Springtime on the team. They reach a target group that is already engaged in activity, community, and personal achievement. These are values that are also central to our work,” says Thora Ingeborg Dystebakken, Fundraising & Marketing Manager at Right To Play.

First collaboration: KKmila

The first event in this partnership is KKmila, a race that gathers thousands of participants in Oslo every year. Through the collaboration, participants are given a simple opportunity to make their run even more meaningful.

KKmila has highlighted the importance of the partnership:

“For us, KKmila is about more than just running. It’s about community, achievement, and the joy of running—values that are also strongly reflected in Right To Play. That’s why this collaboration means so much to us.”

When registering for KKmila, participants can now add a donation to Right To Play, helping to give children in some of the world’s most vulnerable areas a better future.

Play that changes lives

Right To Play operates in some of the world’s most vulnerable regions, using play and activity as a method for learning and development. Together with Springtime, Right To Play aims to connect the joy of movement in Norway with tangible global impact.

“Together, we can make a difference—both locally and globally. When many people contribute a little, it can mean a lot for children who need it most.”

This collaboration marks the beginning of a long-term partnership, with the goal of creating engagement, raising awareness, and generating funds to support children’s right to play, learn, and feel safe.
