Lars spent four years as Head of Fundraising and Partnerships at the Norwegian Trekking Association (DNT), one of Norway’s largest NGOs. DNT manages more than 550 cabins, maintains 22 000 km of trails and works to promote environmentally sustainable outdoor activities in Norway. Prior to joining DNT, Lars held various positions in the Norwegian Red Cross at both HQ and field levels. He has worked as Regional Advisor covering Central America and the MENA and been posted as Country Manager in Guatemala and Syria. Lars has a Bachelor of Arts from Columbia University in New York and a Master of Science from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

He enjoys running, skiing and trekking.
