Globally, millions of children and young people are displaced due to conflicts and the rising problem of climate change. Lack of mental health and psychosocial support undermines efforts to ensure their wellbeing or hopes of a quality education and a brighter future.

This conference aims to highlight the growing importance of MHPSS (mental health and psychosocial support) in EiEPC (education in emergencies and protracted crises) settings. It will explore the thematic challenges, as well as differing approaches and solutions from those connected to MHPSS provision in EIEPC. It will assess the global, but also distinctively Nordic response to MHPSS in EiEPC. It will offer a platform for the voice of young people and children affected . Combining all of these aspects together, the conference will act as a call to greater attention and funding focus to this crucial area.
